Lost And Found

Lost And Found

A Poem by Chris Smith Welshpoetcs

Poem

"
Never found my way
Across this distant road
Which is called life

Who could take me in
If I never could know
Exactly where I was

Drifting through my soul
Searching for nothing
Standing on the knife

Balanced on the edge
Never wanting to fall
Seeking the source

Someone took my hand
Then held me close
Opened up my eyes

She took me home
Spoke to me in volumes
Without making a sound

Now it is never far away
To find my way back
Through a river that cries

Look for the beautiful glow
The smile on her face
When you are lost and found

I love simplicity, but I never seem to be able to keep any of my stuff simple.
