White Feather

White Feather

A Poem by Joy C

Lifts up, swivels,
Once, twice,
Drawing the perfect arcs
Flowing in the currents of air,
Dips, glides, lands

Dancing in a park

Caressing a seat of
A swinging swing,
Seeps the joy of the children,
Feeling light

Bumps into a bench
Resting, recharging on the
Sweet smell of wood

An worn- out notebook,
On the bench
Carefully chosen word,
Form into young, colorful dreams
Across the pages

Bidding the owner the best of lucks
Another breeze comes by
Another journey, begins

Nature poems are great when they are filled with imagery, as this one. Nice flow, as well. I could see the feather wafting down, floating in the wind and landing on the book. Nice poem!

wonderful imagery. I can see the park and the fluttering feather.
