Quick Ones:Volume One

A Poem by Nathan Durham

Some I wrote when I was bored

As I Sit Here Thinking

As I sit here thinking
Of why this world is a ship sinking
I ponder over the answer
Its not aids plague or cancer
Its not war or lack of money
Not the people who think killing is funny
Its that we all can't say
The way we feel every day

Wings of Black
Our decisions let us see
That wings of black will set us free
Yet if we stray down the evil path
We must suffer sin's wrath
Darkness tempts us but if we could
Instead ride the road of good
