Yellow Tulip

Yellow Tulip

A Poem by Nick Lynott

the cycle of life

I can smell the rain
I can feel the earth moving
All I need is the sun
I hope it's today

Morning is here
The sun is coming
I know the sun is coming
The wind told me

I can feel it now
I can stretch
I can show myself

I'm tall

But so thirsty

I just need a little water

The night will save me
