My brother personally inspired this one.

you chew me up

and spit me out.

you kick me hard

and punch me deep.

you laugh,

tease,

joke,

point,

all at my expense.

But I let the hate roll off.

just some water on a duck's back.

Last week my brother found my writer's cafe profile and told me I couldn't write. I cried for a long time. I'm not over it. I doubt I ever will be.
