I Don't Remember This...

I Don't Remember This...

A Poem by songstress
"

Imagine what it must feel to Cry and yet not be heard...Pills, and bills of recovery are issued, and still you're not heard. A poem of madness.

"
White shores, and white noise echo...
tearing into white surfaces,
white walls...
padded, and harsh the light sears
it's way into my mind
And I watch the shadows dance,
illuminated, against the canvas
white and Vibrant...
They all laugh,
the party drones on
bass, beats hard,
shattering my teeth, ribs,
and heart...
And yet, nothing makes sense...
all is white and bland...

Nondescript, I lay upon the padded floor,
trying oh so hard-
to gather tears,
and droplets of sweat pool...

Unfathomable, the voices laugh and jeer...
remember, remember, Rrrrr-REMEMBER
I'm cutting myself, Biting my tongue,
frothing red, all over the Shore...All so white...

My mind conjures warmth, My Chest tightens,
spine arches, Tears fly off like fire-crackers...

And I collapse a mass of flesh,
and bone...
dye'd white...

I'm no longer

They're no longer...
I remember nothing, cept the white.

Excellent portrayal and feeling

This is it! I can sense the pain and despair in this poem, the restlessness and panic and loss of hope. Using all the whites also makes it very cold and isolated. Honesty and bravery all the way!;)
