Revolving Theory

Revolving Theory

A Poem by Pax

Time is just an illusion

A manifestation of our creation

I often wonder the flip side of space dimension

The revolving theory of our imagination.

I have so often had this thought myself, Willyam. Time, though concrete because we have made it so, it purely up to our own perception. We count based on the setting of the sun and the rise of the moon, but who is to say what time actually is? Time is relative. I love this. It is somewhere between poetry and science...which I suppose is the definition of imagination. Well done, my friend.

thank you so much my friend...
Picture prompt is awesome, and your poem to go along with it fits perfectly. I love the first two lines, and it really makes me think, who came up with the concept of "time"? Who decide we need to measure time, or if time really exists at all? Very nice.

This is fantastic. I love short, simple poems that lead you to think so much more about the meaning and possibilities beyond them. Very well crafted and a pleasure to read.

Imagination and blood memory blur the lines between what is real and what is an illusion. This thought seems to be universal. Well done.

YUP, I think it is..thank you.
Very elegantly told and deeply thought provoking. Time is something that is always on my mind. Whether it be the present, the past, the future, the subconcious part, or the end of it. As always...brilliant.

thank you so much my friend.
I like it. *Smile* Time can be very upsetting, there are moments where I think life would be a lot nicer without time. You do rhymes very well, Willyam.

Sometimes, sometimes you just want to put it on paper and not worry about the format.
