Darkness creeps in the far corners of our mind,

Waiting, Waiting

 for its turn to come out.

If a pure soul is tainted with blood

Or even just a splash of it

Darkness grows

Then it’s hard for a soul to contain it.

This is a deep thought of mine, blood can be a metaphor or not, it really depends on the situation.

A process often referred to as "confession."
Entertaining or "playing with" darkness (of certain types) can be disastrous.
Perhaps, you're talking about a presence that is not, at first, fully recognized.

Pax this is so true. There is no human being not born or afflicted by this darkness or dark side. The Bible called it or refer to it differently - SIN . We inherited this darkness or sin from our great grandparents Adam and Eve. Hence we are all capable or infected by this sin or darkness. We are dark people or sinners by nature and by choice. We are not tainted by it. We are it. Its part of us since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. It would be very impossible to contain it since we didn't even recognize or aware that its there, consciously and subconsciously. Its natural for us to think and act on it without even being bothered by it.
Here is the Good News. Jesus came to destroy this darkness, this sin that enslaves and control us by paying it with His own life. He gave us freedom to choose and to resist. Without Him living inside of us it would be impossible.

I believe the dark lays dormant from generation to generations... or its really a part of us, its just there, waiting... to grow more out of our consious mind... but that doesn't happen if you let it... that is why I am a strong believer of Balance... with you in the middle between light and dark...

Souls stained with blood... darkness that cannot be contained.... sounds like an end of the world scenario. Also, this is something I've been meaning to ask you, on a less serious note, but why do you only show the top half of your face in pictures? It could be none of my business, but I was just wondering.

I think we have the potential for both dark and light thought within us all, if we let the dark thoughts grab hold it can spread I agree, it does seem easier for people to be mean than it is to be nice. Another thoughtful write Sir.
