The ocean’s dying

The ocean’s dying

A Poem by Pax
"

~ the ocean's perspective, a little philosophy, a little me, a little of mixed up worlds, war here and there, extinction everywhere...

"

The ocean’s dying

Trapped in the glass

Food for your tray

I am the water that filled your thirsty soul

You're just a starve being who hungers for more

Can’t you see, I am slowly dying

My children is declining

Pollutant is destroying my beauty

day by day

I wonder if you care

I hope many of you understand

That my rage goes out of hand

That’s just how I am

Nature’s call in changes

Of the climate

and more often of what you’ve done

In time you’ll see how important I am

How you’ve lost a part of me

That cares for you

I am not selfish

All my blessings is free for the taking

But it is never yours alone

You outnumbered my children

To the point that you hunted them to extinction

You polluted my shores

To the point that I lost my blissful purity

You poisons each other's soul

To the point that I have taken the destructive consequences

Some things are hard to learn

But that doesn’t mean you’ll repeat the same mistakes

over and over again

as if it’s a good thing

it never was and never will be

I am dying, how I wish you care

I hear two sides to this amazing write dear Pax. There is the environmentalist in me that hears a gripping tale of how we( mankind) are ravaging our water supply ..making it dirty and undrinkable. How we waste so much of nature's gift for selfish reason. The second thing I see here dear Pax is YOU. When I read this ..I see you..standing at the edge of the shadows ...longing to walk into the light and be showered by the rains of happiness and love..of life and droplets of salvation...but you hesitate even when you know that you are dying...thirsty ...pressed for more than this trivial existence is giving...know that you are not wasting away like the oceans..you are the line where water meets land ...its seems unsteady but you are the balance that keeps it all in check you have both the thirst of the land and the dryness of the ocean. YOU ARE THE EDGE OF SERENITY> SPLENDID WRITE!

Enough is never enough with people…there is enough for enough but we want more. People will learn when it’s too late and even then they will find new ways to exploit the beauty we were meant to enjoy and protect. I have little faith in mankind! Wonderful piece my friend, you show a caring heart which makes me doubt my lack of faith!

The great oceans will outlive all of us and will mend themselves, we however will carry on with our greed and false needs until we starve into extinction. with no oceans we have no us, just as all the other great phenomenons this planet gives to us.
The content here is solid with an imaginative use of words. The grammar is a little loose but I understand that English is not your first language?
If you drop the 's' on poisons it will work better on this line;
"You poisons each others soul"
Otherwise a good write, thank you!

Thank you, your words and help means so much, truly grateful...
Another beautiful piece and so very true. you know i am guy with very few words letting others speak for me. All i can say is what others say when it comes to passion you are untouchable. i feel the words as they sink deep inside me I always see you in every piece you write I'll stop right here before i embarrasses myself... too late.

the ocean speaking..almost beseeching mankind...a very relevant social piece pax. mother nature has often times show the destructive effects of all our negligence and lack of concern yet we never learn. i wonder whether future generations would still be able to swim on a clean pristine beach..i hope so.

A wake-up call to humanity before it is too late and to the goverments of this world to care and do something about our dying oceans that are so vital to our lives and livelihoods even our travels and well being. Your philosophy is a noble one. A splendid read and write Mr. Pax...:)
