you don't have to be pretty
or be beautiful physically
or be great at
anything you love....

as long as you're there
for me to see 
and lean on
once every so often

and by knowing that you 
care and hold me close
to your heart
once every so often
i know i can
live life
well
enough.

Aww this one is sweet and sad at the same time. The sentence to have someone to depend on "once every so often" goes perfectly with your ending "I know I can live life well enough"...sounding as though it would be just enough to keep enough positive in your life so the negative doesn't totally swallow you up. I think we all need someone we can count on, to show us they care, to just think about us every so often; but to have someone with you constantly, as a partner, friend, lover....that's really a blessing :) You express yourself so well with your writing.
