In the midst of your silence

In the midst of your silence

A Poem by Pax
"

----

"
In the midst of your silence
I breathe the unbearable feeling
you're not into me
anymore...

In the midst of this awful feelings
I cringe of the thought
you'll fallout of love...

And in the midst of all my doubts
I became the fool
with so little trust,
jealousy blinded me...

In the end, I didn't
 find security
in your embrace.

Trust is one thing in a relationship but making your partner secured of what realness you both have is important as well.

I hard feeling and realization indeed. When we feel in the midst of things which way to go now after the hard facts, either continue down the slippery slope or get off the train at the closest town. I know you write with great ideas in mind about life's tough issues. Glad to see back post new works brother Pax...

It has been a while since I read you here, or been here in general but I am glad I found your poetry today Pax :) This speaks such volumes of hope lost in fragility, I felt the impact, wonderfully woven :)

I loved the honesty of your post. I cringe of teh thought you'll fall out of love... So sweet, painful, and honest.

What a painful flow of life... in the aching... in the longing.. in the letting go. Oh my dear friend, so thankful to have you here.. to know you're safe and keeping well. This devouring thing will go soon enough... keep your words flowing... please.

Hi, Pax!
Here we are again. We do write poems with sad themes that easy, don't we? Good job, Pax!

With our situation today, the safest place is our home. Keep safe, my friend.

How sad... We sometimes get paranoid in a relationship because we are aware of our shortcomings.

That moment when the penny drops can be so painful. You know it's happening and you want it to stop, but it doesn't. You conveyed your feelings well here Pax. First of yours I have read.

As you say--in the end--whatever the reason, you didn't find security in her embrace.
Says it all, Pax.
Good read!

we often become the fools without realizing we are in the midst of doing that.
Third line and seventh line need very slight editing.
But i really like the theme, the layout with the short rhythmic lines.
