About abuse, just came to me

      Less than perfection,

Less than notification,

less than life,

you let me strive.

I knew deep inside of you,

there was a monster,

and I thought I could keep it out of you,

but the way you yelled at me,

the way you hit me,

the way your eyes glinted with evil,

and I thought you had changed,

how moronic,

how pathetic,

I was to subject that you could be mine!?

After the wounds on my heart,

and countless other places,

I hide in empty spaces,

scared to death that you'd come back,

scared you'd beat me to my last breath.

But, I hope I can stay strong,

right out my wrong,

love was my last resort,

and i was the dumb helicopter that landed on your port,

so forgive me,

let me be,

tell me good-bye,

look me in the eye!

No more will you hurt me,

I am free,

The wounds are healing,

I am smiling,

You're disappearing now,

good-bye,

see ya later,

empty boxes are now full,

you fool.
