Contradicting Gloom.

Contradicting Gloom.

A Poem by f Solaris

These things that are running through my head
These beasts with long nails and sharp teeth. Tall black and shapeless.
They are carving my skull inside out
They are devouring me whole
They are searching
My skin isn’t my skin anymore
It’s their skin.
My laugh is not my laugh
My pain is not pain
My limbs are not limbs
My brain is not brain
My body is nobody
My eyes aren't my eyes anymore...
my eyes are not eyes anymore
I don’t mind being blind
Possession of the body was in the contract.
For how long? You never know.
What is there to know? Not much.
Signing the paper is quick and painless.
It makes things quick and painless
We like quick and painless
