My Cosmic Journey

Experi-mental rhyme

A child was I, and full of life

Burning my tail as I bashed

Befriended all the little comets

Until one by one they crashed

 

My moods changed quite often

As I became manly Mars

Assumed the act of conqueror

To rule Sun, Moon, and the stars

 

I danced in Venus’ orbit

For no sense but sensuality

and sought from Saturn’s sky

The structured rules of reality

 

I still gaze at the skies above

When lonely self I find

Each one manifests a memory

Upon the sphere of my mind

 

But to Earth I re-return

The Eden I hold so dear

A humble Adam am I

My Eve beside me here
