Touch you Touch me

Touch you Touch me

A Poem by wordman
"

"

I have touched your soul

and you have touched mine

and we will be together forever

if only in our minds

Two souls meeting in the night

two wrongs don't make a right

but our hearts locked

and our souls entwined

We danced in the stars

solace we can find

so forever we shall always be

because i touched you

and you touched me...

a true miracle when such things happen un-looked for ... the closing is endearing and warm ...a good feeling that brings a smile to my face

glad you liked it e
Just beautiful- like they say- how do you go back to being strangers after seeing someone’s soul- beautiful- when that special connection happens only us ourselves can know and feel the depth that remains always- excellent write🌹

thank you very much
"Touch you touch me"
wordman,
People touch one another all the time.
We are designed to have an impact on
others and they on us; continual ripples
moving, changing. This poem seemed a
thought of something which may of start-
ed out a little rough but there was some
good, some warmth, something to remember:
"Two souls meeting in the night
two wrongs don't make a right
but our hearts locked
and our souls entwined"
I was not sure about this one part but the con-
text of the poem is strong and shows a recog-
nition of acceptance of love, of healthy and
vibrant commonality. When something is
healthy it needs to be protected as in:
"We danced in the stars
solace we can find
so forever we shall always be
because I touched you
and you touched me..."
Blessings
Kathy

you went way back, thank you !
Left me with a daydreamy sort of vibe mixed with a little bit of uncertainty. Nice combo, made for a pretty little read. :) I have to agree with another reviewer who said that their favorite line was "we danced in the stars". It's a nice piece of imagery in this poem, which I think should eventually be made into a song.
