Rose Garden

Before the day
breaks through the night
the dew falls and glistens
in the light.

It waters the roses
in my garden so rare
only beauty will you find in there

It`s a special place
down in my soul
where no one else can ever go

Only I can trod that ground
it`s a place
no one else ever found...

Author's Note

you know when I wrote this piece I really didn't know what it was about
after reading comments from all sites I really thought about it and this is what I discovered.the rose garden is a metaphor of course it is my inner soul life waters my soul
but the person on the outside and the one on the inside are totally differen`t I don`t show the inside openly and people really don`t know me...

Fragrance from the garden of our lives. Is it watered, cared for? Gentle care, for the new shoots but before they come forth there must be a strong prune. Life is like that. We respond to the challenges and can become stronger.

I think we all have our inner gardens, but no two like the same, just as we are not the same. None can really ever see every part of our hearts and souls. I think sometimes we as writers reveal more than we think we do, but the interpretation is what matters. Lovely Ron.
