Frozen

Frozen

A Poem by wordman

When we first met

your heart was frozen

but we felt a spark

Your heart started to melt and thaw

our love started to bloom

as a beautiful spring day

as the ice melted away

You reached out to me

like a vine in bloom

the warmth of my heart

melted your soul

As I nurtured you

our passion started to grow

the love melted your heart

as we became one with nature

I touched you,like the sun

touches a flowering bud

I touched your soul

and our love grew like a flowering rose...

thank you for the visit
interesting soft romantic interplay between your characters ... so many things that we experience that can freeze the heart and soul ... even those innocent of such things have to leap to trust a hand offered .. innocence on one hand and wisdom with love offered on the other .. i almost can think of God reaching out to mankind ...

This is a very elegant write of passion beauty of the soul where true love can grow. You see I never truly got to understand much about love. Because when I first fallen in love, it wasn't long I had to give him up. He died and so did my heart. I was young, Yet, I'm growing old. But my heart will forever hold the love I had lost long ago.

I can relate to this myself. My wife was very reserved upon my meeting her. It took a long while for me to show her how much I cared because of the damage she endured before me. It felt as though I needed to slowly thaw her heart as well. Very good job!

Great works WORDMAN Ron you out done your self again with words of a tender hearted man in the keen sent of a woman. It must of been your plan to fill her heart with words of meaning to the heart and the soul a melting heart full of gold.

yes sir,thank you
Nice easy read, wordman. Classic story of romance, heartwarming for sure. Your simple imagery and style breeds familiarity. I was distracted a bit, going back for nuance in the repetition of words only to find none. Still a lovely diversion. Good work.

I like your poem it's so sweet, and it shows that a bond can become unbreakable if they are given the love they need.
