False

False

A Poem by Meg

A hint of smile across his face

Attempting to cover up the lies,

The deceiving part of him

I try to get away...

Seeks to pull me back

Into his defying trance,

The falsehood of his eyes

Get me away...

I push and shove

His eyes gleam

With false happiness

He should have never started

Knowing it was coming,

He didn't hesitate to say

"Fine. Leave."

And he stalked away

He didn't know my sadness then

I didn't want to go through with it

But the happiness I missed came back

Without him, without him I was joyful
