Wish

Gun in hand,

Body in action.

Running from shadow to shadow,

The mind in combat,

Yet, the heart at home.

Longing for warmth

The one that was given, but rejected.

But now,

I'm waiting for the chance

For the chance to return,

For the chance to live.

And feel love.

And

The bell tolls,

Signaling freedom.
