Every touch 

Healed my struggling body.

You picked up the broken pieces of me

And sewed them together.

Stitch by stitch.

Piece by piece.

Every kind word

Reminded me what it was like to smile.

You were my medicine

You are all I needed.

Every touch

Every word

Every smile

Was a drop of medicine in my heart.

You're the still the same person I first met.

You still have that pure heart.

That beautiful warm spirit.

Just standing beside you was my drop of medicine.

Now I'm healed all because I met you.

the song Medicine by Daughter inspired me and helped me remember a very special relationship I have with someone.

yes well this was the first one I wrote but uh I was listening to Medicine by Daughter and it got me thinking about me and this other guy so yeah.

Isn't it great that there are poeple in the world that will stand by you at your most deprssing state, a friend who looks past your low point, one who see's the good rather than the bad in you... Well the story behind this is that when I met this very special person we were just friends. He didn't know my past, and well we became very good friends and at the time I was trying to recover myself from Depression, and so in a way he healed me.

Yes I'm glad too. I'm glad I met this person. I was already kinda over it, I just...I just needed some "healing" but yes thank you :)
