Just Go Back to the Start

I approach you
It’s my way of forgiving.
I can’t stand to forgive and forget.
How can I forget my friend?

Tell me it’s okay.
Tell me you feel the same.
You stare at me all the time.  . .
Are you too shy to say
what’s on your mind?

The light that once shined has dimmed.
I look at you
You look at me
Neither of us say anything.

All I want to do is go back to the start.
I just kept guessing at the signals and the desires of my heart.
Question marks hanged over our heads.
Can they ever be answered?

Tell me your feelings.
Tell me what you’re thinking.

Is this just a waste of time.
I can’t run in circles anymore.
Chasing secrets I'll never know.

No one ever said life was easy.
Are we just going our seperate ways.
Because
I just want to go back to the start.

I was inspired by my own personal experience and by my favorite song "The Scientist" by Coldplay

I know. But it's just something to say ya know? Everyone at one point or another wishes they could go back to the beginning of something.
