Dreams

I never wanted it to end. 

Everything was perfect. 

I felt closer to you than I've ever felt before. .  .

I can still feel your arms around me.

I still feel myself smiling. 

Dreaming of you 

I never felt more alive.

Colors . . . were the feelings and the entire sight of the dream.

I never wanted to leave. 

You make my heart beat

Even though it was only a dream.

I wish we could be together.

Aw, you've got it bad. lol
I like poems that rhyme, and this didn't rhyme. But ever since I joined writers cafe and read others poems, I've learned to appreciate a poem without rhyme and I've even posted a few that don't rhyme of my own! But anywaysss...There's a point, I promise.
You didn't rhyme, but I loved this!
It's so dreamlike. Which probably seems like a stupid thing to state because, well that's what this poem is. But The way to wording and the punctuation's, it makes it seem like the person/you is in a trance. Like they're floating away on cloud in a distant sky, lost in their own thoughts.
To sum it up, after that long explanation, I loved this! Great job! :) And J better get his mind straight! lol
