I don't know who I care more for

I'm just not sure

 

I know I how I feel

 

But deep down inside I know I love him more. . .

But I wish so badly I loved you

Because you treat me better

 

He holds me tight

Unknowingly controls me

 

He keeps me hanging on

 

I remember all the memories

I remember all the laughs

The smiles we shared

I know I was so into you

 

Sometimes I wanted to let you hold me

Because you already entered inside my heart

 

I know you're right

I know he's wrong

But yet I still pick him over you . . .

 

 

Here you are

We're sitting in the library

You smile at me

Tell me another one of your stories

It's just you and me

Just like it should

 

You are my best friend

I'm closer to you than I am with him

 

But he holds me close

He feeds me attention

and Bleds me dry

 

 

I still remember that special moment we had

Under the colorful lights

I should have danced with you that night. . .

 

That night. . .

 

 

Author's Note

I'm torn between two guys. One who I know isn't good for me, but I still like him. The other I know is the better choice and he's also a really good friend.

Choice can be a terrible thing and already is leading you to regret by not being able to be in two places at once! Time to make a choice maybe?

Go for the good guy the friend who treats you well and connects with you. Believe me in the long run you will be happy you made that choice. Guys who are you attracted to buy who treat you badly are like a bullet in the heart. Only ever ends in more heartache and pain. Love the poem you wrote and expressed it beautifully.

Aly, I relate to this wayyyyy to well. I am kinda in the same boat. I share memories and friendship with both boys and one is better while the other is worst for me. Great write, the emotion and conflict shows clearly.

For what it's worth, I recommend friendship over instant passion; friendship is a very rare thing, and I think you'll find in the long run, that true friendship makes for a much better relationship; an excellent poem.
