for all of us that have said goodbye to a loved one.

there's one simple word
that we all have to say
it makes me hurt everytime
and in everyway

this word stings the worst
makes you feel like second best
makes you want to hide away
from the truth
and it's
goodbye,goodbye,goodbye
no word stings more
makes me want to cry
but i must say
goodbye.

it breaks my heart
makes me cry myself to sleep
makes you turn away from me
only to find the stining left from
goodbye,goodbye, goodbye
no word stings more
makes me want to cry
goodbye, goodbye
now i must say
goodbye.

my body shakes
with every chilly stake
that goes
through my heart
and every time i see your smiling face
i want to cry
goodbye
maeks the end of so many good things i can't describe
goodbye
so hard to say,it's true
but it somtimes marks the start of somthing new
goodbye

goodbye,goodbye,goodbye
no word stings more makes me want to cry
but now i must say
