Bleed

Bleed

A Poem by Sarah Buchanan
"

It's a work in progress. But hopefully Mark and I will turn it into something that can be listened to. Although then you might have to hear me sing.

"

You see the changes in my soul

I bleed for you

You see through every inch of me

I bleed for you (repeat last line x3)

The depth within

Will free my soul

From all the hate

Flowing through this world

All the hate

Bleeding through this world

Of hate and judgment

Leaving pieces behind in the rubble below

Bleeding through the pain and suffering

Standing by

While this world gets destroyed

By those who are greedy

Bleeding through this world

You feel the pain

Running through my veins

I bleed for you

You block the hate

Running through this world

I bleed for you

You carry the weight of us

I bleed for you.

Bleeding through this world

Of hate and judgment

Leaving pieces behind in the rubble below

Bleeding through the pain and suffering

Standing by

While this world gets destroyed

By those who are greedy

Bleeding through this world

Nothings what it seems

For the end is near

The final hour

Will strike us down

As we wait

For the explosion

To erupt.

Bleeding through this world

Of hate and judgment

Leaving pieces behind in the rubble below

Bleeding through the pain and suffering

Standing by

While this world gets destroyed

By those who are greedy

Bleeding through this world
