She

She

A Poem by the writer of woe
"

Part of my literary poems.

"
What is she?
But an angel with no wings
Like a fire without red
The burning surely burns red

What is she?
Who is she?

She is the world above
Like a heaven blessed with love
Like a cool inferno that warms
As she makes the broken heart form

Where is she?
Why her?

Why the intoxication?
Why doesn't she shun?
What makes a heart beat's beat?
Is it her for she is more than meat?

Yes it is her!
Yes,
        It!
            Is!
                 My!
                        Love!

Many postings here confuse font with poetry to the extent I have become eye shy of poems that use clever typesetting in lieu of clear language. Your "falling" in love spacing is an exception that does not set my teeth on edge.

In your poem there are many questions. Personally I like questions, especially questions that require a difficult and personal answer. The answers you supply in the third stanza, are they difficult? are they personal? Are they answers at all? What did a poet feel when a poet penned these answers. I hope a poet was better satisfied than a reader.
