A mightly woman whose tribe was destroyed by invading soldiers becomes enraged and gathers female warriors to join her to form a sisterhood of love and remain strong....a write of historical fiction
As her army of mighty warriors waged battle on a blood thirsty trail,
The queen knew she must defeat the invading enemy to never fail!
A difficult job had to be completed before she would find any rest,
An assignment to train a fresh tribe to become the fighting best.
Angry women fighters united from vast regions of Brittonic lands.
Maidens forsaken in villages pillaged by invading Roman bands,
Abandoned and barren in life without homes, drink, nor food,
Heroically joined SHAREENA, by forging bonds in her sisterhood.
A leader she was, and without question, considered the mightiest,
SHAREENA, EMPRESS OF BATTLE won difficult of war's quest.
Courageously she met arduous enemies and easily scored a win,
Leaving dead and wounded in her wake, they'd battle her not again!
Her prowess was shown as she proved her worth as mighty leader.
She and her tribe of woman warriors marched victoriously together.
Though moments came when she felt it would be the end of her life,
She met each trial in her path by fighting to conquer events of strife!
Legions of war tarried behind her as they killed and destroyed more,
Thus she remained guardian of a tribe trained to build up and restore.
Lives of women now shattered by the ravages of vicious war,
Became meshed with SHAREENA who was out to even the score.
The women who marched with her, grew stronger with passing days,
As she trained them well and tested them in her proven battle ways.
They stopped neither to eat. nor to partake of refreshment of drink,
Continuing on day and night, one's endurance was tested to the brink.
Her band of women proved to be a mighty force, ever moving forth.
Each developed a unique skill to show her sisterhood of worth.
They endured hardships, sacrificed the need to rest, feeling the thrill,
As the wages of pain and torture were equated with every vicious kill.
The end would come as members would join kinship as death's friend.
Yet today if you stop and listen to their cries heard in blowing wind,
You may hear echoes of proud battle talk as they journey on along,
Calling out shouts of "FAITH, HAVE FAITH, a woman warrior's song!

Vibrant visuals. The reader can fight the battles right along side Shareena. An epic poetic tale written by a strong woman making poetic history about a strong woman who fought her way into the pages of literary history. She would be pleased at the way you told her story. You breathed life into her and one could almost hear the cries of a battle being fought as they read. Wonderful penmanship from the mistress of the poetic realm.

I like pieces about strong women this was a truly fantastic piece. Very well written. I loved the imagery you created as I read this. Excellent job as always.
You have told the story beautifully. You told of the hardships, the needs, the bravery in the face of diversity, and the goal to overcome and avenge. Very well written.
They say nothing like a woman scorn... again I just loved the details you inject into this delightful poem... it is as if it was playing out on the silver screen... just magnificent imagery through out... plus you showed just how powerful a woman can be. AMZING AMAZING AMAZING!!!
If I saw a bunch of angry women coming at me, I'd run the other way. Do you think they might have spared me if I gave them chocolate? Thanks for the history lesson.
Well, I'll just chime right in with the rest of the girls, and give a Hearty "Hoo-Ahhh!" for this magnificent, soul-and-blood-stirring rendition. You have captured the ferocity and the humanness in one bold stroke, and of that stroke Boudica herself would give praise! Shame we no longer have leaders who can move us to such heights; gratefully, though, we still have a Poetess of multiplicity WHO CAN!!
