Sacrifice

Facing my demon

Dig your fingers into my skin
Feel the blood burning within
Wrap one arm around my waist
Constrict my air in all your haste
Puncture veins and watch them burst
Just grin and satisfy your thirst
Stop my heart and hold me captive
Taste my neck's sweet blood and live
Surrender to your hesitation
Don't resist the raw temptation
Your bitter lips make me shiver
Your venom's like a flowing river
Just whisper a goodbye and leave
Promise that you'll never grieve
Turn away and close your eyes
Don't watch me fall and not arise

Your rhyming is excellent.the content a new slant on an old story but the lack of meter is sadly obvious
