Web of lies

Web of lies

A Poem by xNote_to_selfx

She pleads and she cries,

she screams and she dies.

They're cutting off her air,

strands as thin as hair.

They're as sharp as a knife,

slicing into her life,

drawing out crimson hate,

she cannot win, it's her true fate,

boubd tught within these strands,

she cannot move, but her hands,

lashing out with all of her might,

they don't budge, ending her fight,

it's within this web that she is trapped

weaved with lies, and at her mind they have lapped

you watch with triumph as she gives in

you've achieved your goal, which was to win

she is forever trapped in your web of lies

watch as she struggles, screams, independence dies
