Hands

Hands

A Poem by Alias

I love your hands
for all they do
and all they're yet to hold
for all they've learned
to write, to feel
Their adventures are untold

I love each callous
for all it tells
of toil that you've spent
of endless hours
on things you love
your talents and intent

I love each scar
Each sun-kissed fold
That marked you in years past
the nicks, the cuts
That each have healed
But still they left their mark

I love your hands
for all they are
and all they're yet to be
they'll hold me tight
and live through fights
and they've left their scars on me

Very nice. I liked the ending, which is a closed one yet not a happy one.
Thanks for sharing :)
