Goodbye

Goodbye

A Poem by Richard Morimanno

darkend skies of sorrow

hang

conceals the light of day

grasping claws of pain

embed

never to leave its place

endless space of nothingness

pulling

deep into the void

silent whispers of death

stalks

close to destroy

frenetic thoughts of assist

drag

closer to the end

piercing eyes of terror

gleam

sending signs of portend

sharpend steel of defeat

cuts

slowly draining life

faint smile of satisfacion

blooms

from the coldness of the knife

I'm never sure what to say on those penned of self harm, it's a beautiful read filled with so much pain and sadness. You've written it eloquently.

My pleasure
Frenetic dragging? Is that even possible?? lol hmmmmm

If you are indeed a minor, I'm impressed... this is pretty mature. Imagery is nice, flow is perfect.. structured well. Overall, pretty damn good! :D
