Paradise's White

Paradise's White

A Poem by Xhiljola

Bitten by you

It gets worse and worse each day

Your poison runs through my veins

My body might soon just decay

Your voice

What an eerie sound it makes

My choice

To leave no matter what it takes

Stop pulling me in

I continue to refuse

I will not commit this sin

And fall prey to your abuse

Tumbling around

You've lost me again

I keep hearing this sound

Oh God, You've made me insane

Hard to fight the poison. Can overtake us. I like the way you told the story in this poem. I like the ending to the excellent poem.

Short, sweet and effective. Good short study on about a girl being used by her 'boyfriend'. Some good rhyming and expression. Well done.
