Dance

A Poem by Amé
"

"
Dusted cheekbone
Powder fine
Onyx liner
Ruby wine
Pearls on chest
Through silver strings
A little more and
She'd have wings
Silk and satin
Lace corset
Raven hair with
Gems beset
Soft gloved fingers
Rosy lips
Gentle eyes and
Fingertips
This elfish dream
It starts to sway
To slowly dance
The night away

Author's Note

Amé
know it sounds like a prayer. But maybe it is.

About
I am eighteen summers old and I live in the supremely messy city of Metro Manila. Adventurer, neurotic escapist, and regular victim of the circumstances (but aren't we all trying to get over that?). .. more..
