Side by Side as One

I search across the ocean

Hoping to see you,

And although my eyes

Can not fall upon you

In your distant  place,

My heart still continues to beat for you,

Still continues to beat with yours.

For I know

That although we may be worlds apart,

Although oceans may physically separate us,

And miles may lay between us,

Our heats still continue to beat

Side by side

As one.
