Drug Abuse

Though the prospect is tempting�"
The age just right�"
And Tobacco and Drugs delight and excite,
The question we ask ourselves each day,
Is ‘Are they really worth the plight?’ 

Others all do it�"
Fall for all things wrong�"
And we’re all after all trying to belong;
So we watch as others drink and smoke,
And then we follow suit and copy along.

But what do we really gain from that?
How does that even help?
Do we all want to go down that wicked path?
And get in over our head?

Fight we must�"
And hard at that�"
Stop each and every one we can,
And try and get them all to quit,
Urge them to take a safer stand. 

Never influenced, never deterred,
Never to be faced with Intervention,
Never smoke a puff, get tired a huff,
Our weapon is Prevention.
 
Kiss drugs goodbye, the fight is ours,
Watch us play out our role;
For we’re the students of this world,
And that there is our goal.
