War and the Great Divide

War and the Great Divide

A Poem by Roy
"

Read a poem based on war by Pepsimax, and penned down the thoughts that flowed.

"

War.

To those that matter in the tidings of the world: A boardroom game.
Played on a poker table.

With pawns and chips bought of them other pawns' toil.

To the multitude that toil: Fear.

Of Death.
From above.

And sorrow.

When Mars claims a loved one.

To the pawns that play: Death.
From above.
From below.
From this side and that.

And courage in the face of it.
Dampened by mute resignation.

Photo and words made this a powerful poem. Men who control life and death became death in heart many years before. If their daughters and sons were in the way of the guns. Peace would be a important cause for them. A outstanding poem. Thank you.
