A Chapter by Sir Drift & Mr. Pulse

Imagine you in the midst of stars

And one by one I make them fall

To leave just one bright and blue

That only star would be you

I’ve placed the Sun inside your eyes

And embedded the Moon in the tears you cry

Is there any other beauty beyond this world

If it is not inside of a simple girl?

Take, swallow this rainbow speak words of color

Bathe in flowers at early summer

Look into my eyes as your lips close in

Breathe in fireworks as we secretly sin

Grab this Cloud and hide your fear

Let it rain joy to cleanse your tears

A beauty you are, is there word much greater?

Because in all of literature there is nothing better

In Gold you sleep without any trouble

For you are silk of Platinum neigh of rubble

Don’t look around there is none like thy

For in this love it is only you and I

Yes you can uncover your nature, your body

Because in it lies a majestic study

A body of perfection in the eyes of many

None for them but for me plenty

Don’t shy away your glow that beams inspiration

Don’t hide in the covers because of sensual sensation

Let me see, let me touch, explore a world

Because tonight my love we will twist and twirl

Only after you fit a white sheet around yourself

Your black hair I borrow to swear in sickness and health

Then I slip an eternal love on your exposed heart

And silence the world that drifts us apart

To design an End and Start…

You’re the words in this Art.

"And silence the world that drifts us apart
To design an End and Start…
You’re the words in this Art."
The above lines. Amazing and perfect. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

As I read and read, the chapters keep getting better. I adore this one even more than the last. The last three stanzas grip my heart and wonder if you are even a man at all! For surely no one can think so beautifully and highly of a woman.

Hmmm I'll get there
"Imagine you in the midst of stars
And one by one I make them fall
To leave just one bright and blue
That only star would be you"

This is a beautiful poem. But I was a little disappointed in your words "a simple girl".. I was under the impression that someone told me girls aren't simple...

When reffered to a simple girl here, I am speaking of one girl. Simple as in singular and not plural.. read more
