I like short pieces like this ... they rarely stand as the highlight of a writer's portfolio but nevertheless, they're nice to read from time to time. As for this piece, I love how it expresses a nice message ... the last line added an ironic touch, a great addition to the overall satirical voice.

I agree with the overall message, in that cleverness with words doesn't always make an entertaining poem. Sometimes, a poem may be too verbose ... with the individual lines standing well on their own, but not harmonizing together in unity. Although you wrote this as a self-realization, it stands well as a message to all writers.
