The Beginning of a New Tomorrow

   

                   

The world had always

clawed at her deepest desires, 

wherein she kept them 

hidden in her heart

​​

afraid, that if she voiced them, 

she would be rendered dumb; 

robbed of the power of her voice..

​.​

 

​​

until, it dawned on her; 

to be fearless and to 

rely on her strength.

And she stood 

facing the shore

​,

​as a​

 deep calm washed over her

​.​

The beginning of a new tomorrow

​;​

​the

 rising sun glowing in her eyes

​,​

​a​

s she took in the beauty of the world

​.​

She had missed it; among all the chaos

​...​

​now

, 

​she embraces it.

A sigh crosses her lips,

as she vows, 

to never let go...​

This stirs up a beautiful imagery for me. It is absolutely beautiful, for me this could be the tale of anyone who has been afraid to live their life their way and suddenly they see the beaut in living and they throw caution to the wind and embark on an adventure that they had been too afraid to tell anyone about. It is a cautionary tale to live each day to the fullest, listen to your own heart, and don't care what anyone else thinks. The image you put with it is perfect. I loved this, beautifully penned.
