Eccentricities

Inspired by a conversation with Emmajoy.

I buried my head ~ tired and torn

in between the eccentricities

of night and day,

oblivious to your voice; sugar coated,

the many layers of lust 

peeling off.

Beneath the calm, a storm is raging; 

fiery at the hypocrisy,

and each human being appears transparent,

Tis those who have been insulted need be ' fiery at the hypocrisy,' especially when it comes from those lurking in groups in cyber world.

Some of us turn the other cheek to snide and arrogant behaviour and/or venomous words because we were reared to behave with a little or more dignity. It's so easy to behave badly - after all, that nastiness is a ready servant to the ignorant. However, there's a time to stand up and be counted. Your words - so finely laid, makes me even more determined to stand firm. Gangs are for the weak.
Thank you for your wise yet sad words, i know there'll be others to come.

When the sun burns the skin it goes from golden healthy glow to scabby and dry and sick - like some relationships.
I like the way this is tied up like a parcel of thoughts/feelings/words ready to be put away.
Love the formatting and font choice too - gives a wistful dimension to it my friend.

I actually spent more time on the formatting/structure than on writing lol still slightly dissatisfied by it. Kinda taken a sudden liking to grey colour too, most of my recent pieces you'll read will be in that ;) maybe depicts kinda the mood I am in lately...
