A Chapter by Dr. YumnaKay
"

Late night scribbles. Spontaneous writes. Thank you for putting up with my negative s**t.

"
Sometimes life stills and breaths appear ragged, forced into being and we are left gasping. The pounding inside the brain a constant dull ache, forever reminding of the loss of a precious moment gone awry.

Reading your thoughts... knowing well this ache... how we try and drown it out with activity or music or anything that helps us forget it is there, always moving, always alive in us. Wishing the painful moments could let go of us all, but knowing they will always exist... so wishing that beautiful moments will share the space in you too. Always.

This makes me think of grief. A heaviness, an ever present ache. There is no pill, and time perhaps just makes it a little easier to carry.
