Disguised ~ In My Poems

Disguised ~ In My Poems

A Chapter by Dr. YumnaKay
"

Ramblings. Scribbled hastily.

"
Your silence howls,
deafening, as I coil
and recoil; my

serpentine thoughts
have no end and
nor does your
absence.

I have lost control
of my fingers
as they scroll down
on their own,

the pixels on screen
blurring even more
with time;

one sole digital
image screams
its denial,

yet, I seek to
remember you in places
I'd never sought...

you are the artwork
disguised in my poems.

Wonderful when there’s something that brings such meaning to things we express- we then have lived and experienced and hopefully learnt- sometimes it’s just for a matter of time a space a place in time then it’s gone - only memories remain- your words making one think🌹

I have always wished that I could write with total abandon, as you describe doing here. Even when I write reviews, I'm laced up too damn tight. It's a joy to read something that really feels like raw expression, but also with a natural artfulness (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Here you are again, creating words that challenge the imagination and - with only a choice of twenty-six letters! You touch emotions with such a sleight of hands, switch from this to that with only a single breath of.. whatever it is you have for your favourite meal! Beautiful this is, full of something special.. and maybe the reason you're wearing glasses so you can see 'whatever' even more clearly?!

Sometimes the words that come to us on the spur of the moment capture our minds best. This writing captured my imagination.
