A Chapter by Dr. YumnaKay

Ramblings of A Raging Mind.

Your words flow with poison.
The same poison, which now
flows within my veins...

I have, perhaps, already
accepted the way I've been
painted, than the way
I was made...

I have known such poison... have drank it deep... have poured it out... Now aching in a dark poison that might find its way to your world... to your veins. May there be a peace for us all to cleanse our blood, dear poet.

There's a lot we feel in life. We feel many things. There are people who make you or break you, but what's important is that they do no effect you if you are not to be affected. It's the ways of life. Great poetry here.

You have a deceptively simple way of putting things...the meaning grows after the poem is read. Poetry should make things clearer, as you have done here.

A frenemy perhaps? The unsheathing of "claws" most often from behind doors or others' walls ...bite... when the echo INTO one's ears from another's lips.

what others say about us or to hurt us...those are not fair assessments of who we are and what we are.
only WE really know the answers to those questions...we feel from within and others must not dictate how we feel about ourselves.
