Someone to Catch Me

Beautiful day, your eyes so divine,

I lose myself, would only my will slow time,

Fulfilled, content, my heart felt right,

I trip, were only return in sight,

once warm, now cold, Was close, now far,

I fall, were only my heart not marred,

Not my first, not the last, I’ve fallen before,

I strike the ground, were only there more,

The pang of hurt, but not in surprise,

I look up, were only someone to meet my eyes,

Sore muscles flex, weary mind does whirl,

I stand up, would only my stomach not curl,

I walk my walk, I smile with thee,

I start to fall, would only someone catch me
