Big Bang

Big Bang

A Poem by Zatoichi
"

poet or narcissist?

"

well, the medication's kickin' in;
the sky has stopped screaming,
its purple rage dissipated by the rising moon.

the stars are mere pinpricks, cosmic remnants
of God's celestial headache
the Big Bang.

planes can be seen, and satellites pulse
on the horizon like the scattered thoughts
of an attention-deficit-disordered deity.

does God recognize the patterns in my head
as creations of His or sins of mine?

A question I'm constantly considering.
This is beautiful. Almost wish it wasn't so I could have something constructive to say.
