Can't want to love you anymore

Can't want to love you anymore

A Poem by Greg Agee
"

broken heart seeks closure

"
Just don't want to love you anymore
If I could
I'd just close that door
That's just not, the way it was
Though it hurts me way too much
It's not your touch,
That I am missing
For certain, not your lies
Just can't want to love you anymore
I've fought it that's for sure
It's time to face the fact
That you don't love me back
You can't, you won't
Doesn't matter what I do
Just can't want to love you anymore
I don't want to ever need you Like I needed you last night
Don't want to want you like I've wanted you before
Can't live this kind of life
Getting just enough of you
To keep me hanging round
Just can't want to love you anymore
Can't fight a losing war
Just be the same as it was before
I have no need to try again
seems their's no way, I can win
Let's just let the story close n
And have it's end
Just can't want to love you anymore
