Ink on a Page

A poem written inspired by an older writing.

Experiencing love when my page fills in

the ink will draw itself for me. 

I'll take the credit for it's creations

for love is being caught up with you.

You have the words I can never find,

a white page, blank space, emptiness-

I look through the page my pen has inked

to find words stirring in a river of souls.

They raise and lower floating aimlessly 

a soul I must take to find the right words to say.

I choose each word on the sounds it makes

to rhythmically fall on my window pane.
