Ariel,
You resurrected your Prospero,
A perfect homunculus,
Carried him within you,
Through all the long years,
Eventually bringing it to term,
And the inevitable,
Irresistible, black
Oblivion.

Yar, it's a homage to Sylvia Plath. I've been reading her quite a bit lately. There's really nothing I've come across that has the same kind of dark force to it that her late poems have. Mind blowing, really.

Plath definitely has her own place on my bookshelf (you know books - those real things made out of paper that still exist for now) Ha Ha *I certainly know that you do btw* ;-) As for your poem: You certainly carried Plath's torch well and with it you shone a light on the beauty of her darkness.
