a boy

a boy

A Poem by zella

he has the biggest heart i've seen,
i tried to fit inside,
and curl myself against his warmth,
i would never need to hide.

his eyes are big and twinkling,
when tickled by his smile,
but i guess i mistook them as welcoming,
it wasn't for me all the while.

his smile doesn't look at me
the way mine looks at him.
his heart is way to full for me
to ever, ever fit in.

I’ve been in that situation a few times.
Nicely written. :)
