Despondent Dystrophy

Despondent Dystrophy

A Poem by Hello, Goodbye
"

..one moment of loosing control, but only as an imagine form..

"

Every little step leads only to death
Theres no escape, the only exit
We are born to die, only a stream of lies
A spiral into oblivion's pit
I cannot accept the futility
The constant waste of possibilities
Must I digress in this despondent theme
Pointless rambles.. whoa the frivolity

How does one endure when there is no hope
A soul that reaches the end of rope
The hopelessness unequivocally envokes
An end to a deities' joke

So here I gun the devils' run
A conclusion to a despondent line
An act of blasphemy... as I see my last sun
A bloody sunset that will make it all fine

Author's Note

Hello, Goodbye
Completely Fictionalized Notions That Were Imagined From Actual Pain. The flash in the pan feeling before a sobering thought that is redeeming. Taking ones life is never acceptable.

This is the essence of society that is captured when you step back and really look at it.
"I cannot accept the futility
The constant waste of possibilities"
Everything can seem so futile. We require hope to give us the desire to continue.
This is raw and true. Well written, sir.

I actually have two pieces on very similar subjects: Illuminating Emptiness and The Monochromatic Intellect.
